================================================ Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question From: To: "The New Improved Less Lame List" Date: Fri 05 Jul 2002 13:32:44 -0400 ================================================ They did have a site but its not up anymore. I know they were having problems keeping band members too. So I have no idea if they are even "Dust For Life" anymore. I saw them a little over a year ago and met a couple of them. They are the nicest guys! Funny cuz I did belong to their street team and found some stuff the other day that I didn't know I had! Even a signed pic! ~Michele blonde_skylight@juno.com wrote: >I love Dust For Life, they're probably one of my main reasons that I got >into the bands on Wind-ups label.  But you're right, it's like they don't >exist.  It's so hard to find out anything about them. > >Do they even have a website? > >Kit > >On Fri, 05 Jul 2002 07:12:20 -0400 shell696@cs.com writes: >> I was just about to ask if American Pearl were around anymore.  Did >> anybody ever get into Dust For Life?  I love that cd and its like >> they don't exist anymore either!  The future of Wind-Up is not >> looking to good! >> >>                                  ~Michele >> >> >> "]\\\\[][G}{T'TV.]v[" wrote: >> >> >You know, if they paid my bandwidth, and flipped me a free CD or >> signed >> >picture and maybe some concert tickets every once in a while, I >> would be >> >more than willing to take on the administration of their mailing >> lists and >> >Bulletin boards... hell, I wouldn't even really need them to pay >> the >> >bandwidth.  They've been promising us a new AP CD for how many >> months now, >> >and has anyone seen it yet?  Last I heard, the guys were starting >> to get a >> >little put off, as it appears their record company is dumping >> everything >> >into Creed, and only Creed. >> >It's really sad, too... as much as I enjoy Creed, there are other >> Wind-Up >> >bands that I just like more... and to see them fail because their >> record >> >company hangs everything on one band... >> >If Ed or Roman or Walter came to me and asked for help, I'd do >> everything I >> >could to assist... but I doubt they would, and I doubt it would do >> much good >> >at this point anyway. >> > >> >----- Original Message ----- >> >From: "Lee Reed" >> >To: >> >Sent: Thursday, July 04, 2002 10:42 PM >> >Subject: Re: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question >> > >> > >> >> now, mind you, i'm a few days behind on all this...apparently, >> tho, the >> >> creed list isn't the only one being dropped...i haven't been to >> the other >> >> windup band sites, either...but i don't think that windup has >> done a very >> >> good job at web promotions for any of their bands, other than >> their street >> >> teams...i personally feel that windup needs a helping hand in the >> promo >> >> department, for ALL of their bands (AP, F11, come to mind...scott, >> tara, >> >do >> >> you agree?)  i sometimes wonder if they aren't in over their >> heads at >> >> windup... >> >> >> >> >> >> >From: "Debbi" >> >> >Reply-To: The New Improved Less Lame List >> >> >> >To: >> >> >Subject: [ Creed Discuss ] Here's a question >> >> >Date: Thu, 4 Jul 2002 22:34:24 -0700 >> >> > >> >> >Creed's back on tour and presumably the album's doing well >> (although I >> >> >haven't looked lately) >> >> > >> >> >But what's with the shroud of silence from the band's camp and >> why has >> >wind >> >> >up seemed to go backwards with their internet presence?  This >> isn't about >> >a >> >> >few people being assholes on a mailing list - it seems they've >> scaled the >> >> >entire internet thing back. >> >> > >> >> >Any ideas? >> >> > >> >> > >> >> >To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss >> list, >> >> >visit: >> >> >http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm >> >> ><< winmail.dat >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> _________________________________________________________________ >> >> MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: >> >> http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss >> list, >> >visit: >> >> http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm >> > >> > >> >To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss >> list, visit: >> >http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm >> > >> >> To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss >> list, visit: >> http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm >> > >________________________________________________________________ >GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! >Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! >Join Juno today!  For your FREE software, visit: >http://dl.www.juno.com/get/web/. > >To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: >http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm > To unsubscribe or change your preferences for the Creed-Discuss list, visit: http://www.debbir.com/lists/Creed-discuss.htm
